www.bmxtrix.com Paul Vail: BMXTRIX has been a huge part of my life. I have added it to my list of hobbies and have spent hundreds of hours creating videos, writing how-to's, writing stories, editing content from others, doing layout, and responding to (literally) thousands of e-mails. It has been VERY hard work (but fun) for me.
www.defgrip.net, 2006: Defgrip was created by Harrison Boyce and quickly Rich Hirsch and Andrew McMullen were brought aboard. The premiss behind the site was to create a community for the BMX world and to promote the creative side of the sport. Since the launch in the summer of 2005 Nuno Oliveria and Mike Ardelean have joined the family. We all have roots in BMX, but don't be scared when the content of the site steers from bikes. We are Defgrip. Hope you enjoy.
e-wire: Le labyrinthe de Kieran Chapman. Même si le site n'est plus mis à jour, il y a d'excellents articles à découvrir.
bmxsociety.com S.Brothers, january 2010: www.os-bmx.com has undergone a radical transformation. It took a while to complete. OS-BMX, in the form you have known it up to now, will actually never return. We have evolved as a site. The new site is quite different. From it's surface appearance to its name, to the core infrastructure. Everything has changed. You'll find expanded and revamped facilities aimed at increasing the quality of your experience as a site member. The changes are so fundamental and sweeping that it will be quite a shock to some. Rest assured that nothing you will see was undertaken without a lot of thought and consideration with regard to the long term community experience. I realize that change can be hard to adjust to at times. Please give it a chance, relax into it... enjoy. This is a site created with connoisseurs of BMX Culture in mind. It was designed to be the framework upon which our real world community stands. This is the BMX Society. It will be as great as we make it together. Please be at home and be a part of it.
www.trikology.net the study of bmx freestyle by Chad Johnston.
www.wofbmx.com: Women of Freestyle. This site's been around since Aug '99 now. The original focus was for it to be a place for every girl rider regardless of time riding, skill level, location or anything else.
UK
www.radbmx.co.uk Dave Giller: So there I was one dark Saturday night, in late November 2004, had a good session at Rom, just about to log into vintagebmx.com, only to be greeted with a sorry, youve been banned box appear on my screen! Initial thoughts were god, what will I do without my daily fix of vbmx? So I immediately got on MSN to ORB to find out if he knew what the feck was going on. He knew alright, as did several other members who had been given the chop. It was the firebird freestyler thread that had done it
shock horror!!! Without going into too many details, this was a UK based thread on a US based site that had run its course and been deleted, much to the disgust of many of the British members and because a few dummies were spat, a few of us were banned
.which in the end would turn out to be a silver lining in a dark cloud. So without further ado, ORB suggested we make a go of a UK based forum. Kelly was already on board at this stage and must be credited for the initial kick start of RADBMX along with Olliver. I immediately jumped at the chance to become a dot com millionaire (not)
and we decided on the name WWW.RADBMX.CO.UK. So I registered the domain name. We were away! (...)
