| Kevin McAvoy, www.ridebmx.com: I've been trying to figure out how to describe this video, and I've realized that the best and most obvious way to do it is to say this: Metal Bikes. This video has a very do-it-yourself feel to it, and it's blue-collar BMX all the way. It's not about high-tech this and cutting-edge that, it's just about bike riding and rock 'n' roll. Holy crap, did I actually just write that? Metal team riders Derek Gabbert, Sean Burns, Jeremy Davis, Brad Josar, "Smoker" Dave Schilling, Seth Holton, Caleb Kilby, Dan Price, Mike Lausman, Jimmy LeVan, and Ryan Metro dish it out primarily on street, with some trails and concrete parks littered here and there as well. Metro is the standout, but everyone rides tough, as a number of grizzly bails prove all too well. This isn't the greatest video you've ever seen, but it doesn't need to be; if you support the Metal way of life, chances are good you've got a Faded Glory tattoo in your future. | |
